Storm Clouds Pouring
It's daylight, But you wouldn't know it, Because the sky is black
With rain pouring as if from buckets. The storm just happens to be my life
And I'm wondering where the sun has gone , It's been to long since I've seen the light of day
Yet I do believe, God will make a way for me to see the rainbow,
Indicating a change is about to come
Still I can't see one break in the clouds in the sky, Has me wondering now
Is it possible that I can hold on until the end, For I keep asking God,
When will the sun shine on me
Going through so many trials and tribulations, And not being able to see the silver lining
Has taken it's toll on my body, but not my trust Leaning still on the promises of your word
That you'll place no burden greater than I can handle on me ,
Allows my eyes to close to follow your lead
I just ask that you feed my soul, Then continue to hold me through this storm
Where I know eventually one day,
I'll see the light Shining behind the dark clouds that now cover the sky
I now know why my soul cries instead of my eyes
For he rejoices as life tries to separate me from Love's arms
Assured that their bond is unbreakable
Causes me to hold back my head to feel the rain even more
Only now to pour strength into this weaken vessel.
